Taking inspiration from pop icons, sacred geometry, and current events, Case Simmons creates large-scale digital photo collages by embedding thousands of
images taken off of the internet onto a single photograph, forming temples and shrines of current American culture on the brink, caught in an impossible moment
of spectacle.

In collaboration with Simmons, Andrew Burke constructs sound-collage environments that reference a database of several thousand short, mostly recognizable
web-appropriated samples. The program designed for each temple, layers samples in a constantly shifting manner, creating a final audio output that never sounds
the same twice.
